Biden to deliver remarks on the emerging omicron variant Monday

President Joe Biden will speak on Monday morning about the emergence of Omicron variants.

Biden will speak at around 11:45 am after he and Vice President Kamala Harris have been briefed by members of the White House COVID-19 Response Team on the latest developments associated with the new coronavirus variant. ..

During the weekend, the president was in contact with COVID-19 experts, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, who met in person on Sunday.

in a wait and see mode, no big changes yet, they found 2 cases of the new mutation. D is still 99% of their cases.
