Mark Meadows will stop cooperating with Jan. 6 panel, attorney says
Source: Axios
Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows will no longer cooperate with the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, his attorney told Fox News Tuesday.
Why it matters: Meadows, who failed to appear before the panel last month, is believed to have insight into former President Trump's role in efforts to stop the certification of President Biden's election win.
Last week, the committee and Meadows' attorney, George Terwilliger, said the parties had reached an understanding on how to exchange information.
This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.

And they are traitors, every last one of them.

(1,837 posts)and they really ARE going to prosecute (successfully) any (ex President) Senators, Congress People, even down to local levels and IF any are convicted, then those will be ineligible to run for office regardless of gerrymandering or appointments by Fascist Governors. What a thing that would be after the primaries next year or in 2024!
If the Fascists were smart (sorry!) they would dump those that they know would be compromised and start with new blood to avoid a rout.
I hope that would happen, but then again, I always believed in Santa Claus.

(2 posts)I'm starting to think that one of their angles is to refuse to cooperate, so when the J6 Committee actually starts enforcing the subpoenas, they can start acting like it's some sort of dictatorial, authoritarian overreach.
And use that to raise more money.
