Three Northeast states deploy National Guard amid medical capacity crisis due to pandemic

The governors of Maine and New York deployed the National Guard in response to dangerously low capacity at statewide medical facilities due to the pandemic.

The New York National Guard announced Wednesday that it had deployed 120 medics and medical technicians to a dozen long-term care facilities statewide. The deployment came at the behest of Gov. Kathy Hochul, who issued the order last week in response to staffing shortages.

Meanwhile, New Hampshire Gov. Christopher Sununu is calling on the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the National Guard to help the state prepare for the Covid-19 winter surge.

Let the overwhelmed hospitals rent out a nearby, abandoned Sears or K-mart,
outfit it with some yoga mats and space-blankets then put all of the sick, willfully
unvaxxed in there when they they show up at the ER with Covid symptoms.
Have tasty Granola bars and juice boxes available for every meal! Let
them be cared for by any of the unvaxxed nurses and staffers previously
put on unpaid leave that need to work again. We need our National Guard
for more important stuff (like distributing food aid to impoverished Americans).
Give these patients all of the horse paste, magic dirt, UV enemas and bleach
injections they want!
It might also be a good idea to just automatically toe-tag them on admission
to save valuable time. Have a refrigerated truck or two parked and ready near

5. Thanks to the unvaccinated, Covid-19 continues to ravage the U.S.

When recent statistics are showing that the unvaccinated are filling up hospitals and dying, then we are at a point to know that there is no sane reason to refuse a vaccination.

We used to have cold and flu seasons. Now we have Covid-19 years-week after week, month after month, the sickness and dying is constant.

I wonder when the rwnj are going to have enough winning. Maybe when their crush on putin ends.

10. I keep hearing an ad on the radio

The ad sells thermometers. Part of the verbiage is 'Some people are hesitant about getting the vaccination' Oh bs. They are being as stupid as they can be and the unvaccinated are going to need more than a thermometer.

I 100% agree that if a minister, preacher, priest, or any member of a church hierarchy says a single thing about politics in the pulpit or on church property, they get taxed. Right on the spot. And church ladies don't get a pass.

11. I got my booster today here in New York

I was kinda bummed out that I was the only one there - except for the maskless wandering around the store. I feel pretty awful at the moment, same as I did after shot #2 back in March, but I know it won't last and I figure this means it's working. The news is out there, what does it take??

13. I'm beyond disgusted. Just checked the stats from yesterday and in my little, rural

town there are 36 cases. That's far and away the largest number of cases I've seen reported since the beginning of the pandemic. Overall, the vaccination is only a hair over 50% of people who are fully vaccinated in NH. WTF is wrong with people? I would say the vaccine has been tested rather broadly at this point with billions of people injected and the results are in: Bill Gates did not plant a microchip in it to track you. Look it up on you cell phone.
