1. Looking at Worldometers graph, no increase in deaths despite being in 4th wave since mid-October

I don't know if that means the people most susceptible to dying due to underlying conditions have succumbed, or if the number of people vaccinated who are getting the disease aren't getting as sick and dying.

On edit: This is for the whole world, not just the U.S.

with Russia a close number two. So we're in good company.

And CDC is forecasting that to double in the next few weeks. I'm not looking forward to another grim COVID winter but it looks inevitable. Anti-vax maskholes are dying to own the libs.

Mask up and stay healthy. Vaccinated folks should hopefully recover quickly.

As people come back from gatherings and parties, into workplaces and schools.

We will spike again.

Though one positive is that my employer has told everyone that for the first 2 weeks of the new year, everyone must be masked. They said they expect people to get sick and don't want disease to spread. They already have a vax policy.

So some employers get it. If for no other reason than they know what a person out with covid costs them in productivity.

Update 8/1/21
(data going back to 5/8/21)

and now to compare with the latest today -

Update 12/11/21
(data going back to 9/11/21 with Omicron now showing at the bottom of the last bar depicted in purple)
