Congressional committee investigates fake election certificates sent by Michigan GOP leaders

LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) — As the January 6 committee investigates the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol Building, it is interviewing Michigan election leaders and gathering documents sent from Michigan political insiders.

We are now getting a look at emails sent by the National Archives to Michigan’s Secretary of State after the November 2020 election. It shows what happened when a group of GOP electors went rogue.

They didn’t have evidence they won the popular vote in the state. They didn’t have legal authority to represent Michigan in the electoral college.

Still, they sent a document declaring former President Trump the winner to the National Archives.

This is big news. These people are facing serious jail time, one of them is bound to flip. This is going to lead right to the top, to the people who organized this coup. The Feds have to act on this referral, go get em. If I were Jeffrey Clarke or John Eastman I would hire a body guard.

The people who signed these fake documents are not unwashed people and they are facing a lot of jail time, one of them is going to flip and lead us to people in the inner ring of the coup. The AG was getting ready to charge them when she realized 4 other states were involved which she looked upon as a conspiracy to overthrow the government, a case better suited for the Feds.

IMO this may be bigger news than the arrest of the Oaf Freepers which may lead us to people like Bannon and Roger Stone, people who were at the Willard Hotel.

Okay I hope you're right, and that their clean record past doesn't keep them out of jail.
The thing to keep in mind is who are the plotters, the funders, the coordinators, the attention seeking adjacents, and the lovely assistant tools.

It's way bigger than we knew, and gone on longer than we first saw. The one good thing Reagan left the Republicans with is "trust but verify," and the few who have are with us.

The biggest news to the country is how a money grubbing political party sold its soul and got dismantled by rule of law. I hope history chronicles how we saved democracy.
