Former Trump DOJ official Jeffrey Clark meets with January 6 committee

Source: CNN

Former Department of Justice official Jeffrey Clark is meeting with the House select committee investigating the January 6 insurrection, two months after the panel voted to hold him in contempt for his lack of cooperation.
Clark was seen entering a meeting room Wednesday in a building on the Capitol Complex where the committee has routinely been interviewing witnesses.
Clark is key to the panel's investigation as he was one of the officials within the Justice Department pushing to pursue unfounded claims of voter fraud in the weeks after the 2020 election, and, according to officials who interacted with him was in touch with then-President Donald Trump repeatedly.

But I think people are starting to see the handwriting on the wall. The locomotive is moving pretty fast. You either get on it or get run over by it.

Barr refusing to do illegal shit. Pence doing what he SHOULD legally do. Even Guliani telling trump "you can't do that". Its scary that it came down to people who were trumpers to save the day. I wonder though; is it possible that, more than following the law, they actually knew trump should no longer be in office? Had he been competent WOULD they have done it? Never know

Cause I think that both of them will sell out everyone else to save their own asses. So, the question is - who will start singing first. My money is on Clark, as a lawyer he truly realizes the legal jeopardy that he might be in, whereas Meadows is just a weasel trying to live off the leftovers.

But, one of them is going to sing… giggle giggle. Plus, if it’s Clark, then the GOP people in Congress better start to lawyer up - cause the 14th Amendment might be coming for their asses. I hope that I got the correct amendment.

11. The congressional inquiry can't bring charges, so that doesn't matter here.

Now, when the FBI knocks on your door with search and arrest warrants, then those considerations kick in.
