Thiel-Backed Video Platform Rumble Offers Joe Rogan $100 Million to Switch From Spotify

As the controversy surrounding Spotify’s relationship with podcast host Joe Rogan continues, Rumble has offered Rogan $100 million to bring his show, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” over to the free-speech-centric video platform.

Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski wrote in an open letter posted to Twitter on Monday that he stands with Rogan, who has recently come under fire for spreading COVID-19 vaccine misinformation and using racial slurs on the massively popular podcast.

“We stand with you, your guests, and your legion of fans in desire for real conversation,” Pavlovski wrote. “So we’d like to offer you 100 million reasons to make the world a better place. How about you bring all your shows to Rumble, both old and new, with no censorship, for 100 million bucks over four years? This is our chance to save the world. And yes, this is totally legit.”

May just be a publicity stunt but if Spotify moves on from him, Rumble could end up being the landing spot for him and his roided, Nazi fanbase.

Between September 2020 and January 2021, monthly site visits to Rumble rose from 5 million to 135 million; as of April, they were sitting at just over 81 million. Sarah’s mother is one of these new Rumble users, and, according to Sarah, is now refusing to get the Covid-19 vaccine. Explaining her decision, says Sarah, her mother cites the dangerous anti-vax disinformation found in many videos on Rumble.

Rumble claims that it does not promote misinformation or conspiracy theories but simply has a free-speech approach to regulation. However, our research reveals that Rumble has not only allowed misinformation to thrive on its platform, it has also actively recommended it.

Rumble Inc., a video sharing and streaming platform used by former President Donald Trump’s media company, has hired former National Security Agency legal chief Michael Ellis as its general counsel.

The Yale Law School graduate joined the White House in early 2017 as a senior associate counsel to the president and deputy legal adviser to the National Security Council. By mid-2020, Ellis held the role of senior director of intelligence at the NSC.

Ellis was previously a former general counsel to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence under Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.). Nunes will leave Congress in January to become CEO of the former president’s media operation, Trump Media & Technology Group Corp., the company announced Dec. 6.

This asshole was put into place so they could get signals information about "foreign interference" in Biden's win. Along with Kash Patel at DOD and Watnick at DoD as "acting" undersecretary of defense for intelligence and security.

They were also put in place in the DoD to rat out any positive action taken by Chris Miller to put down insurrectionists.
