Five Phoenix police officers were shot during an early morning barricade situation at a house, the department said.

Phoenix police said they were called to a home where a woman was reported shot.

When an officer approached to help, the suspect immediately opened fire, striking the officer multiple times, police said. That officer was able to get away to safety, police said.

Then a man came out of the house holding a baby, police said. The man put the baby on the ground and walked to police where he was detained.

HAD to go to a local gun store yesterday to get gun cleaning kits for my Arsenal (😑 . Can’t afford to shot em but they still need maintenance for medal components. Anyway, the kinds of weapons that were there were stunning. Hand guns that looked like mini machine guns. Hundreds of assault rifle styles. I have NEVER seen anything like those for hunting or even allowed to be used for hunting. Except for hunting people. These all will be used against us, and law enforcement as well. Tell me how we Back any Blue when they have to face this weaponry. I was the only person in there with a mask, so I imagine they got a laugh at my expense. But, they now know that mask wearing liberals are well armed as well. I needed multiple kits and knew my weapons well. Plus, I was gubment trained to use them.
My daughter is a nurse in NeuroTrauma. I can’t believe the number of gun shot victims every week that never make the news. If only we could shoot viruses, they would never stand a chance.

Once again, women suffering domestic violence are the canary in the coal mine. It seems that mass shooters and other perpetrators of gun violence always have a history of violence against women, children or animals. We must take those prior violent incidents very seriously instead of wondering "what did she do wrong to set him off like that." (Remember Gabby Petito? They were just separated overnight to "cool off," as if it was normal). Men who beat up or threaten women are dangerous, period!
