1. Does Ukraine have the capability to attack Russian staging areas if attacked?

I've never seen this brought up before but I've wondered. If they were attacked, it would certainly behoove them to be able to inflict as many military casualties as possible as quickly as possible. Attacking staging areas across the border would be a good start.

Ukraine is one of Europes poorest countries and their military equipment was obsolete. They've improved their military since Russia invaded Crimea in 2014 with more troops and better weapons but they are still way behind even with the donations of military equipment recently.
All Ukraine can do is go on the defensive and make it hurt as much as possible. But there is no way they can win on their own.

Any Americans still in Ukraine should leave “immediately,” the White House said Friday, as it warned that Russia could potentially launch an invasion of the country “any day now” — possibly even during the Olympics.

“Any American in Ukraine should leave as soon as possible, and in any event in the next 24 to 48 hours,” President Joe Biden’s national security advisor, Jake Sullivan, said during a press briefing.

Those remarks echoed Biden’s own warning for U.S. citizens in Ukraine to “leave now″ during an interview Thursday evening with NBC News’ Lester Holt. “This is a very different situation, and things could go crazy quickly,” Biden said.

Sullivan noted that the U.S. is not certain that Russian President Vladimir Putin has made a final decision to invade Ukraine. But “it may well happen soon,” he said.

I'm with the president of the United States. Are they? Are their minions going to continue their petty indifference. Or can they shed their childish behavior long enough to stand up as Americans?

We know Trump was Putin's puppet...and several oligarchs around the world cut deals with Trump and may also like a return to a US/Russia/N Korea/ UAE/SA/Qatar alliance of rich leaders.
