Washington Post: Bill Barr says Trump has neither the temperament nor persuasive powers of a leader

Source: CNN

Former US Attorney General Bill Barr thinks former President Donald Trump "has shown he has neither the temperament nor persuasive powers" of a leader, according to excerpts of his forthcoming book obtained by The Washington Post.

"We need leaders not only capable of fighting and 'punching,' but also persuading and attracting -- leaders who can frame, and advocate for, an uplifting vision of what it means to share in American citizenship," Barr, who served as Trump's second attorney general, wrote in the book, "One Damn Thing After Another," according to the Post.

The comments from the onetime Trump loyalist come as the former President continues to hold considerable influence over the style and direction of the Republican Party, serving as its standard-bearer more than a year after leaving office.

According to the Post, Barr says in the book that the prospect of Trump running for president again was "dismaying."

Mon Feb 28, 2022, 10:17 AM
Feb 2022

Case a suck up letter op-ed, he thought he could go in and manipulate TFG to further his unitary executive beliefs (at least for republicans - checks and balances are for Democrats).

He then finds out that TFG is a true narcissistic sociopath ( I refuse to say he is mentally ill) and not only can’t he be controlled he is a true menace beyond Barr’s imagination.

At that point in his pathetic but too late for prime time efforts Barr did try to stop him but he deserves no praise for that since he facilitated TFG like all the sycophants.

He should lose his law license, be investigated and prosecuted for whatever crimes he committed, sanctioned, or turned a blind eye to.

There is only 1 kind of praise for anyone in that administration or congress that could be given and that is if they had invoked the 25th amendment. “Talking” about it or “considering” it doesn’t count and won’t save you.

They are all traitors!

... but at least he is putting some of his cards on the table - to share with and allow the world to see.

The Intelligence Quotient of Fatsolinl is so deficient and lacking - he belongs nowhere near the control and/or levers of a first world power such as the United States of America.

trDUMP would fuck up a play session in a three year old's sandbox.

It seems Barr is sending up a warning/emergency flare about 2024/+ The House of a trDUMP Dynasty.

Thank God for that, but FUCK Billy Barr for all the other FASCIST stunts he pulled over the span of his lifetime.

But, like so many other Republicans, he saw it as an opportunity to push his personal agenda while holding the highest level law enforcement position in the nation.
So he torpedoed the Mueller Report to insure his boy would stay around, thus also ensuring he would stay Attorney General.

He's a self-serving bum who cared far less for the nation than he did for his own job. It took the prospect of a coup to get him to bail on Trump, but even then he didn't do the right thing.
As Attorney General, he could have held a news conference to totally debunk the "Stop the Steal" BS, and warn the nation of a possible coup attempt. I'm sure he had enough information at the time of his resignation to block Trump's Big Lie propaganda move.
