Evangelicals Start Write In Campaign For Jesus – Calling Both Obama AND Romney, ‘Satan’

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by pinto (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum).

Source: www.addictinginfo.org

A vote for Obama or Romney is a vote for Satan. The Live Prayer Church — operating through television and internet — has been circulating (or trying to circulate) an argument against voting for either candidate. Their solution? Write in Jesus!

This wouldn’t be newsworthy except for the amazing fact that 1,649,176 people have signed the petition already, and that number is growing all the time. The organization (I’m not going to call any organization that engages in heavy political speech a “church”) says that third party candidates are a waste of time, as seen below:

So who is a Christian to vote for with a clear conscience? The answer is simple…JESUS!!!

I am encouraging true followers of Jesus Christ to say NO to satan (sic) and say YES to Jesus! This November, write in the name JESUS for President! The option will be several third party candidates. Sadly, no candidate outside of the two major parties have any chance at winning the election. So rather than vote for a third party candidate, write in the name of Jesus for President.

Yeah, because Jesus has a shot at winning the election, right? People, please don’t waste your vote. Vote for somebody that can legally run. Even were he present on the earth right now, he isn’t a citizen of the United States. Also, somebody should probably inform the writer of the plea to vote for Jesus of the following quote by F. Scott Fitzgerald: “Cut out all these exclamation points. An exclamation point is like laughing at your own joke.”

So, because they hate Obama, they are going to write in the name of a foreign born, brown skinned socialist who gave away free healthcare?

With a job and a pension for young and old
We will make hallelujah ring

Every year we waste enough
To feed the ones who starve
We build our civilization up
And we shoot it down with wars
