N.Y. judge's son who dressed as cave man in Jan. 6 riot sentenced to 8 months

Source: Washington Post

A son of a Brooklyn judge who dressed as a cave man and helped lead the charge against police lines and barricades in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot was sentenced to eight months in prison Friday after pleading guilty to felony civil disorder.

Aaron Mostofsky, 35, an aspiring architect, admitted to being one of the first 12 people to enter the Capitol’s broken senate wing doors and windows shortly after 2:13 p.m., while wearing a raccoon fur pelt and stealing a police shield and bulletproof vest.

“What’s critical for you to understand, and for the public to understand, is that without conduct like yours, without people on the front lines pushing, the barricades wouldn’t have fallen, the Capitol would not have been overrun, people would not have been killed, and others would not have suffered serious physical and mental injuries,” U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg said.

Boasberg said he did not know what sucked Mostofsky “down this hole of a stolen-election fantasy,” but added, “I hope you’ll leave some of the fantasy world behind at this point because I hope you understand your indulgence in that fantasy led to this tragic situation — tragic for the country as to what happened that day, and tragic for you and what you did … and the effect it will have on your life.”

Fuck him in that minimum security at Otisville. He's still got 30 days to even show up, the privileged prick.

And I'm even MORE pissed at the prosecution's deal.

Boasberg’s sentence roughly split the difference between a 15-month prison term sought by prosecutors and home detention requested by his defense. Prosecutors dropped charges of assaulting police and obstructing Congress’s certification of President Biden’s election victory.

He was living in some loony tunes fantasy where the biggest crook in American history was
some kind of "Dear Leader," stopping the Constitutionally transfer of power was an act of
patriot, and the mother fucker was standing next to some mouth breather with a confederate
battle flag in the nation's Capitol.

The level and the shear volume of disinformation over God only knows the # of years and the
crystal meth (just a guess) it took to cook that idiots brains must be staggering.

BTW I was in Cincinnati last week and some lady told me that "the vaccine had caused blood
clots in her brain which gave her a stroke in her eyeball" which made her fall and hurt her arm.

"Oh my word, ma'am!" and then found a policeman and let him know that some poor lady with delusions is standing over there and the officer might want to do a welfare check on her. But, that is just me.

they will never really have to suffer, in terms of penalties.
They can be as cavalier about the law as they want but they always know "daddy" will get them off.

Like most government employees, judges are rarely "rich". I have one in my family. Their salaries put them into the middle class.

Majewski just won the republican nomination in my district. He says he was there but didn't storm the Capitol. Can the sleuths who found a lot of people on the video find footage of Majewski storming the Capitol and/or doing damage to the building or police? If so it would be a great ad for Marci Kaptur. Thanks in advance.

Aspiring?

As Senator Blutarsky once said, “Christ. Seven years of college down the drain. Might as well join the fucking Peace Corps.”

Excuse me; 7 years and 8 months.
