Zinke's wife declaring primary residence in California as he runs in Montana
Source: Politico
CAMPAIGNS Zinke’s wife declaring primary residence in California as he runs in Montana The former Interior secretary and current congressional candidate has faced questions about where he lives. By BEN LEFEBVRE and DANIEL LIPPMAN 05/13/2022 12:32 PM EDT Ryan Zinke, the former Trump Interior secretary now running for Congress again in Montana, has long faced questions about whether he lives in the state or in California. Now, new tax records uncovered by POLITICO show that Zinke’s wife has designated the home she inherited years ago from her parents in Santa Barbara as her primary residence, as he wages a comeback campaign a thousand-plus miles north and east. When Zinke filed his candidacy papers with the Federal Election Commission, he listed his family house in Whitefish, Montana, as his place of residence. But he and his wife have used Lola Zinke’s home in Santa Barbara as a mailing address for fundraising invitations, Lola’s own campaign contributions and a business contract his consulting firm filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Meanwhile, a tax filing submitted with the Santa Barbara county government shows a homeowner exemption for the California home for the fiscal year that started last July. The exemption, which offers a $7,000 deduction on property value assessments, applies to homes that “must have been the principal place of residence of the owner” at the beginning of the calendar year. {snip} Read more: https://www.politico.com/news/2022/05/13/zinkes-wife-primary-residence-california-montana-00032405 Boo, we hate Politico. 13. They will continue because they have learned that "the rule of love" and "no one is above the law"
is nothing but bullshit...If these two myths (like Lawrence called them the other night) were true, trump and a bunch others would already be in jail.

4. Maybe he is
taking up residence in Montana and she is going to live in CA. Remember mr. zinke you can only vote in Montana not in CA too because that would be illegal. Remember Mrs. zinke you can only vote in CA and not in Montana too. That would be illegal.

when applied to them -- but want everyone else to OBEY.
No wonder no one respects them. |

unfortunately. We only have a few RWNJ's in the neighborhood and we shun them. Zinke's are cheaters and liars. I don't know how anyone is snowed by their BS.

8. So if you are a Republican
you can resign in disgrace amid corruption charges and still run for election. And the GOP rank and file doesn't care.

10. Sounds like he's too fucking cheap for a divorce
Wifey decamps for sunny California, he's in Montana trying to pretend he's a homeboy.
Zinke is why the electricity in Puerto Rico keeps conking out, he got some guys he knew in Whitefish the contract to rewire the island after that hurricane came through, guys he knew that didn't have the workers or a company that was big enough to do the job. I hope his Democratic opponent has the sense to crucify him over this shit. Montana deserves better. |

20. Didn't trump and zinke hire some idiots from Montana to build the TX wall?
Like another 3 person company to build trumps wall ?
And major portions of it were/are falling down. I bet they had to kickback to trump to get those contracts. |

11. It all started in 1990
when they allowed HWBush to claim he was a resident of Texas to avoid paying State Income Tax, even though he didn't own any property in Texas......He got away with it, and it was open season on rich people and politicians trying to avoid State Income Taxes......
Of course, the 200,000 Doonesbury followers that sent in applications for the pseudo resident declaration got tossed in the trash......... When I was younger, I noticed a lot of people in Colorado had Wyoming license plates and wondered why. Then someone told me that these people in Colorado, owned a summer cabin somewhere in Wyoming and declared that their Residence, so they paid far less in Car Insurance, and state automobile registration fees on their expensive cars......between the two, they saved a bundle. They also used that address on large purchases to avoid a big Colorado sales tax on the item. I think the state and insurance companies finally got wise, but the rich prospered for countless years before the laws were changed.... (Elway and all the uber rich in Denver would have their favorite Jeweler send the super expensive jewelry/watch they bought sent to an address in Wyoming), avoiding all State of Colorado and local sales taxes on the purchase. I think they all got away with it, promising they would never do it again, once they were all caught.......I'm sure there were mostly empty boxes mailed by the Jeweler to Wyoming....LOL Several of the kids I went to school had brand new cars every year. Their fathers owned car dealerships and would provide them with their car, with dealer plates on it, and insured by the dealership.......cute, huh The best were several kids I knew that had a parent who was a Doctor and in Private Practice......Their teenage kids went to private high schools and then private colleges. The Doctor would have them work filing in his/her office for a couple of weeks every summer, pay them a ludicrous salary for their two weeks of work. Enough to cover their Tuition, books, etc. Until the IRS finally clamped down, it was a legal way to make the kid's school expenses a business deduction from the parent's Medical Practice...... With all the off shore accounts of the parents, they get Master and Visa cards drawn on a bank down there and charge almost everything, and paid the account's bills out of the offshore account. I remember that at one point the IRS got wise, and tried to stop it by trying to subpoena the charge card statements from the foreign banks and they got nowhere. The list goes on and on........... |

It is appalling seeing all the things that go on around us......I have lived a long life and could go on and on, with many many more stories.
After awhile, a person just gets apathetic towards seeing all the reality that surrounds them...........Just look at the last five or six years for a lack of justice at any and every level...... Hang in there, and stay well! |
