GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- Kent County prosecutors have authorized a charge of second-degree murder against a Grand Rapids police officer who shot and killed a Black motorist, Patrick Lyoya, during a struggle.

(557 posts)kabuki performance starting @13:30 odd, when they were doing "cpr" on the corpse of a man with a bullet in the back of his skull? Weirdly the second guy seemed to be humping the body rather than doing the useless chest compressions.

(9,175 posts)I havent seen whether that was true. Cops have a long history of intentionally typing the wrong license plate number into the computer to manufacture probable cause for a traffic stop where they then go on a fishing expedition. They even have a name for it fat fingering.
If the fishing expedition is successful hooray they can write tickets or make an arrest. If not, its Sorry sir. I see now that you do have the correct plate. My fat fingers must have accidentally typed the wrong license plate number. Have a nice day!
