31 Patriot Front members arrested near Idaho pride event

Authorities arrested 31 members of the white supremacist group Patriot Front near an Idaho pride event Saturday after they were found packed into the back of a U-Haul truck with riot gear.
The men were standing inside the truck wearing khakis, navy blue shirts and beige hats with white balaclavas covering their faces when Coeur d’Alene police stopped the U-Haul and began arresting them on the side of the road.
“They came to riot downtown,” Coeur d’Alene Police Chief Lee White said at a news conference. All 31 were charged with conspiracy to riot, a misdemeanor, White said. The men were going through the booking process Saturday afternoon and are scheduled to be arraigned on Monday, he said.
Based on evidence collected and documents, authorities found that the group was planning to riot in several areas of downtown, not just the park, White said. Police found riot gear, one smoke grenade, shin guards and shields inside the van, White said. They wore arm patches and logos on their hats that identified them as members of Patriot Front, he said.

but they don't want to catch gay or trans viruses, you know......because they'll turn gay or transgender. That's how it spreads you know. 🤪
the pride event, which is perfectly legal, and they would only become concerned once they start using them. 
I give them a huge amount of credit for standing up to these cretins. You can't blame them for defending their rights though. 
As the US was preparing for WW2, my Dad told me it was common for judges to drop charges for first time offenders, sometimes even for things like stealing or assault, if the person would agree to join the military.
That would obviously be a gross violation of civil liberties, but oh wouldn’t it be sweet to see all 31 sentenced to 2 years in the Marine Corps.
Preferably leave the Uhaul parked in Death Valley, padlocked shut.

“In my opinion I would gladly arrest 31 individuals who are coming to riot in our city for a misdemeanor, rather than have them participate in some sort of seriously disruptive event which is exactly what they were planning in the downtown area,” White said. He said the group planned to riot in City Park, along Sherman Avenue and possibly at other downtown locations.
Will be interesting to see how this plays out in court, especially since the police chief said they likely will be charged with misdemeanors.
Good also to learn the Pride event was successful and went ahead with no serious issues.
