All bridges to the embattled Ukrainian city of Severodonetsk have now been destroyed, the local governor says.

With the city effectively cut off, Serhiy Haidai says delivering supplies and evacuating civilians are now impossible.

All three bridges into Severodonetsk were destroyed, Mr Haidai posted on Telegram. Those residents remaining in the city were being forced to survive in "extremely difficult conditions", he added.

You listen to Russian media, you hear often the word "khokhol."Plural "khokhly".

Were the "khokhly" black and and American, the contextual translation would start with "n".

I see translations of these texts and "khokhly" turns up as "Ukrainians." That's simply wrong--understandably cowardly--but wrong.

4. I had some hope several weeks ago

that this might actually end well (or at least as well as possible) for them.

Now I'm not so sure. Such a waste. So utterly disgusting in so many ways.
