Trump to Be Implicated in Fake Elector Plot: Adam Schiff
Source: newsweek
By Andrew Stanton On 6/19/22 at 1:34 PM EDT Donald Trump will be implicated in a plan to submit fake electors to overturn the 2020 presidential election, Representative Adam Schiff said on Sunday. The House select committee investigating last year's January 6 Capitol riot, when Trump supporters tried to stop Congress from certifying President Joe Biden's victory, have sought to prove Trump's involvement in plans to overturn the election results in public hearings, the fourth of which is set to be held Tuesday. One of these plans involved having Republicans from battleground states narrowly won by Biden—including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin—send an "alternate" slate of electors to Washington, D.C. to cast their vote for Trump, even as a majority of their state voted for Biden................................ "We'll show evidence of the president's involvement in the scheme. We'll also again show evidence about what his own lawyers thought about this scheme," Schiff said during an appearance on CNN's State of the Union Sunday morning................................................................. 2. this multi pronged coup
has Trump's stench all over it..Eastman/Navarro drafted the plan, Trump approved it, and Meadows was tasked with making it happen...
If this is what Eastman is doing his damndest to hide, he's wasting his time..it's only a matter of time before Trump's handwritten Post-it notes see daylight |

23. You're missing one critical step here
Who ordered Eastman and Navarro to draft the plan in the first place?
I absolutely guarantee Eastman wasn’t sitting there the day after the election thinking, “y’know, I’m really going to miss the coffee in this place now that Biden’s won the election. I think I’ll overturn his victory.” No! IT WAS TRUMP that ordered Biden’s victory to be overturned, because Biden in the White House completely ruins his plan to hide under executive protection until the statutes of limitations on all the crimes he committed before running for office run out. |

25. I have no doubt it was Trump who ordered a plan, any plan
as long as it allowed him to stay in office..Trump is a conniving asshole but he's not a smart one and this plot was way above his brain cells...I think it was Ginni Thomas who brought Trump and Eastman together..Trump approved it, Navarro and Bannon refined it (Green Bay Sweep), and Meadows mechanized it..
Trump needed to stay in power for two reasons...he liked the "toys" the presidency afforded him..and he needed to run out the clock on the multitude of tax investigations coming his way..and he had billions of dollars in bank loans that were about to be called... |

10. Of course, I was kidding about Alexa.
Just to say that like mafia bosses and dictators, he probably ran out of enough smarts to pull off a large stage operation without leaving a trace. I never knew his note-taking style, and never cared, but when I run out of postit notes, I get a big block of umptey-ump 3x5 postit pads and use each pad as a notebook.
Nothing as serious as organizing fake electors. Just shopping list and chores. Sic sit semper tirannus. So where are the postit-notes, I wonder? Interesting. |

9. Quite a number of Repukes KNEW about this and BOUGHT into the deal
Of course, Chump gave the green light, but once he did, at least half the Repukes fell right in line with it. During the Holiday break of 2020, the Repukes left Washington just like always. But their private phone lines were burning up with all the plotting and planning that happened during those 2 weeks.
It's time to subpoena certain GOP legislators' phone and email records for the last 2 weeks of 2020. THAT's when all the planning and conspiracy happened. Besides Congressional Repukes, several in the state legislatures that were in on this also. I know that Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, and Wisconsin were hotbeds of Repuke conspiracy during that time. (I'm sure there were other states too.) ALL TO KEEP CHUMP'S DISGUSTING ASS IN POWER! Some day they'll make a movie about all of this and call it "The Madness of King Donald." ![]() ![]() ![]() |

20. Oh, that's SO old.
Original was from the worst Thanksgiving football game ever. Seattle crushed the 49ers. Richard Sherman killed them, and was seated at the table over the logo, eating a turkey leg. Rapping knuckles with Russell Wilson, chatting off to the left.
First edit had Jim Harbaugh on the platter. But that joke got colder than last week's leftovers. This is a better color match. BESIDES, the dog will get the turkey anyway. Looks like he bit the head off in this (famous) photo. ![]() |

14. I'll get excited when I see, "Trump to Be Indicted in Fake Elector Plot"
An incriminating connection is not the same as prosecution and punishment. Trump has been implicated in crimes since he first started cheating people out of money decades ago. Regarding his presidency, he started breaking the law even before he was sworn in.
He's already run out the clock on the statute of limitations on his first three proof-laden implications. The New York case has fallen apart in the most mysterious way. I guess I just don't have faith that "implicated" means much any more when it comes to people at a certain level in our society. |

Will take for DOJ to connect enough dots to indict? And if they finally do, will it be one count for something or a broader net with multiple charges? I can only imagine the internal machinations with holdover Repuke US Attorneys thwarting any and all cases to the best of their abilities.
