Women for Trump Founder and Jan. 6 Rally Organizer Turns on Trump: He is 'Disconnected from the Bas

The co-founder of Women for Trump is not happy with Donald Trump.

In comments published by Politico Wednesday, Amy Kremer — a Jan. 6 rally organizer who co-founded the group Women for Trump — blasted the former president over his endorsement of Katie Britt, who won the Republican Alabama Senate primary on Tuesday. Britt defeated Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), who was backed by Kremer and many other conservatives.

“Donald Trump is disconnected from the base,” Kremer told Politico. She added, “It’s time for those of us in the movement to get back to basics, back to our first principles. … We were here long before President Trump came along, and we’re going to be here long afterward.”

Trump initially endorsed Brooks, but rescinded his support amid the congressman’s nosedive in the polls. Brooks tried to get back in Trump’s good graces by supporting the former president’s false election fraud claims. But the two ultimately ended on acrimonious terms.

She claims Trump is disconnected from the base, but her one criticism is that he backed Britt over Brooks. But Britt won the primary - which seems to indicate Trump and the base still agree, whichever is leading the other.

All the repug voters want is someone that can rain down meanness and hate on dems and libs. The orange one can no longer do that so they will more than likely shift to supporting someone like DeSantis. He is mean and hateful like TFG but with more vengeance. A true wanna be fascist dictator, a Nazi in my book.

he's disconnected from reality. And the sad part is, ALL who wanted to know this just had to look at his practices as a businessman and just plain human being. He was/is a sexual predator. Documented. This shit where everyone is so aghast disgusts me. The hypocrisy stinks to high heaven. I( bet

I bet when the creator or creators(if true) turn their faces toward this little ball of dirt, they are holding their noses shut.

I assumed this had to do with the mounting evidence of dolt 45s involvement on Jan 6.

Nope

Trump was revealed as “going with the flow’ and switching his endorsement in an opportunistic way. Instead of sticking to the crazy person who might lose. If Trump won’t hold the line to prop up the crazies, he’s dead weight.

She’s right it began even before the Tea Party morans. Trump legitimized the idiotocracy to a new level, but if he won’t help with that…. Sarinara

No you won't be.

You foisted Trump upon the world and you shall die out when he is gone. You cannot put that snake back under the rock you pulled him from.

When you live by the smirk you also die by it.

What DJT did was personally illustrate what conservative GOP dogma looks like when it is out in the open, rather than hidden in code words and secret groups.

You cannot un-see it. You cannot tell people it didn't happen that way. You are never going to be the respectable dissenting voice of so-called reason you have pretended to be for the last 50 years.

...And the next time you show up you'd better have on your fireproof underwear because we are going to roast your lying asses.

Yes, but, is that a break to the center, or further to the right?

The Insurrectionist/Secessionist Party seems to be on the rise. (RINO hunting permits, "Eyepatch McCain", Texas GOP with a party plank to secede, etc..)

I had to scroll down Ballotpedia to find him. Sabato lists this race as “safe Republican,” and that may well be; but the way Republicans are imploding lately and hopefully in the near future, one never knows. His opponent is not nearly as well-known as Brooks, so there may be an opening. A long shot, sure, but never say never.

What I hate is the way the media just writes off Democrats in the South, making polls and past results a self-fulfilling prophecy.
