Herschel Walker downplays abortion ruling's impact
Source: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Republican Herschel Walker downplayed the impact Georgias abortion ban will have on the November election, saying voters were more concerned about the economy.
Youre going to bring up things that people are not concerned about, the U.S. Senate candidate said when asked by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution about the abortion ruling, which came down Wednesday.
And thats what I said. People are concerned about gas, theyre concerned about food, he said during a stop at Jaemor Farms in North Georgia to talk to farmers. Theyre not even talking about that.
Walker opposes abortion with no exceptions for rape, incest or the life of the mother. His opponent, Democratic incumbent Raphael Warnock, supports abortion rights.

(6,991 posts)And who allegedly doesn't give a shit about his out of wedlock kiddies. One of baby's mamma's said he's NEVER met the child that they share. A friend in Georgia told me that there are rumors of him having just the 4 kids he copped to. IF true .... He allegedly doesn't take care of the litter of kids HE has with various baby mamma's. Let me leave it there.
Single nor MARRIED women don't care about contraception? Women who are raped and impregnated are worried about gas prices? 10 year old's don't mind if they're raped and impregnated by their own Mom's lover? I bet that 10 year old who had to run to another state to have an abortion wasn't thinking shit about gas prices at that moment.

(12,667 posts)But really? children by definition weren't involved in an abortion. And last I looked, men don't get abortion only women do.
But when Roe was a human right in America, a woman didn't need her male partner's permission to get an abortion. So what does this idiot really know?

(625 posts)Democrats need to bring up that they are trying to do something to help people survive inflation while republicans are trying to make it worse.

(3,582 posts)with multiple sexual partners, never accepted the CHOICE by former partners to have an abortion? That he never covered the cost of the procedure himself for his partner's CHOICE?
It's entirely within the realm of realistic possibilities that he even encouraged or suggested the treatment. Of course, some obviously CHOSE otherwise and had the child, which was their right, back when women had freedom and autonomy over their own bodies and lives.
Georgians, you yourselves have a choice to make, though it does not appear to be a difficult one at all. Make us proud, Georgians! Make Jimmy Carter proud!
