Source: Euro Weekly News
Unconfirmed reports from intelligence sources in the Russian-occupied Donetsk region of Ukraine claim today, Saturday, September 10, that Denis Pushilin, the leader of the so-called Donetsk Peoples Republic has fled. A signed document that appeared online purports to be his resignation as leader of the pro-Russian territory.
Ukrainian forces are said to be liberating large swathes of territory at an unbelievable rate today, Saturday, September 10.
Several cities are reported to already be back under Ukrainian control, with the national flag flying once more. The latest breaking although unverified news coming from online sites is that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have reached the outskirts of the cities of Lysychansk and Severodonetsk.

(114,636 posts)as the Ukrainians destroy supplies and supply lines and quite possibly cross the border to destroy any military infrastructure there.
NATO is walking a fine line here, realizing that since a state of war exists between the two countries, this is very likely to happen as a matter of course, but not being prepared to supply Ukraine with long range weapons to do it remotely. The latter would seemingly cross a line which could lead to a wider war, although one wonders how Russia would manage to fight even a limited one on another front.
The danger is that any military incursion into Russia would give the war hawks legal permission to start lobbing tactical nukes.

Now it is Poot's incompetence that will shine.
Wonder what the Pig thinks of Poot's great land "deal". Turns out Poot isn't so savvy or a genius.

(11,145 posts)the confirmed news and reporting when all the dust is settled! I hope it is wildly successful. The Ukrainian people need a break. They deserve to live free in peace and return to productive satisfying lives. They deserve victory over Putin.
I look forward to celebrating the UKR leaders and soldiers and their brilliant winning strategy (eventual). I'm so proud that we supported and assisted them.
I'm especially proud of Joe Biden leading efforts and organizing NATO to help Ukraine fight back!

Since hes gone to ground, then starting a rumor he resigned is a good way to try to make him pop up out of his hidey hole.
