ATLANTA (AP) Authorities say four people were hurt, including three students, in a shooting during Clark Atlanta Universitys homecoming outside a campus library early Sunday. Police say a large group of people were listening to a DJ near the Robert W. Woodruff Library around 12:30 a.m. Sunday when officers on patrol in the area heard gunshots. According to Clark Atlanta University, a preliminary investigation found three students and another person were injured when shots were fired from a vehicle. The historically Black college was celebrating homecoming. Atlanta police say one of the victims was grazed and refused medical attention. Three others were taken to a hospital, though they were conscious and alert.

(28,484 posts)A drive-by shooting during homecoming at a HBCU in Georgia? It wasnt random and Im sure it wasnt Black on Black crime. Im guessing one of MTGs fans. I hope they can find footage of the car with a clear shot of the license plate.

(12,577 posts)because the odds are that you'll be wrong. Whether we like it or not, thats a fact. There are no reports of any slurs yelled or anything thrown; just gunshots. In recent history ALL the shootings & armed robbery suspects involving Clark students have been black people. And none of them were students.
