tWitch death: Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ Stephen Boss 'dies by suicide' aged 40

Source: Independent via Yahoo News

Stephen “tWitch” Boss has died at the age of 40, according to US media reports.

Boss was best known as the famed DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

On Tuesday (13 December), according to TMZ, Boss’s “frantic” wife Allison Holker visited Los Angeles Police Department to report that Boss had uncharacteristically left home without his car.

The publication reports that the police department later responded to a call about a shooting at an LA hotel, where they found Boss dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.

That poor wife, and the little kids. I watched this video a few years back, and thought they were adorable.

That is devastating news. I loved him on So you think you can Dance.

Great talent but what really made him special is the joyous energy he expressed when he danced.

I don't remember being this upset about a suicide since Robin Williams.

It seemed so out of character since he seemed so positive and happy. It just goes to show how insidious suicide and depression can be.

Thoughts to his family. I can't imagine what they are going through.

One reason may be that guns are so easy to get ahold of.

What a waste and a travesty.
