White House: Russia's Wagner received arms from North Korea
Source: ABC
The White House said Thursday that the Wagner Group, a private Russian military company, has taken delivery of an arms shipment from North Korea to help bolster its forces as it fights side-by-side with Russian troops in Ukraine.
White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said U.S. intelligence officials determined that North Korea completed an initial arms shipment that included rockets and missiles last month.
We assess that the amount of material delivered to Wagner will not change battlefield dynamics in Ukraine, Kirby said. But were certainly concerned that North Korea is planning to deliver more military equipment."
On Friday, North Korea again flatly denied it has shipped munitions to Russia, calling the U.S. accusation of arms transfers to Russia the groundless theory cooked up by some dishonest forces.

I wonder who's gonna hit this supply chain first.
US, Ukraine, South Korea, someone else?

What funds/fuels the Axis? Oil, racism, oppression. I'm confident in the long run, but it could get ugly.
I do think people are waking up to the Axis powers---see our mid-terms and protests in Russia & Iran--so one day freedom may win out.

(32,106 posts)The biggest country on earth and the 2nd biggest economy? And when you say the "rest of the world" who are they? Most countries in South America, Asia and Africa do not support our sanctions.
But I was typing quickly and was mainly thinking about the forces lining up against Ukraine. Not sure how much China is supporting Russia in that. But most people in the world, I would hope, are freedom-loving (even in Russia and N. Korea, etc.). So I'm still confident that they will eventually be taken down. Probably not my greatest post---thanks for parsing it out for me.

(33,432 posts)NK & Russia share a border.
Take the shipment on a train across the Korea-Russia Friendship Bridge outside Khasan and put it on a plane that never crosses international airspace.
Or ship it in coastal waters to Vladivostock.
