Brazil election-denier camps 'incubators of terrorism,' new minister says

Election-denying protesters camping outside Brazilian army bases have become "incubators of terrorism," Brazil's incoming justice minister said on Sunday, a day after police detonated an explosive device and arrested a suspect they accused of links to the Brasilia camp.

"Yesterday's serious events in Brasilia prove that the so-called "patriotic" camps have become incubators for terrorists," tweeted Flavio Dino. "There will be no amnesty for terrorists, their supporters and financiers.

as they deny any reality they find unpleasant, especially the reality that they're slightly outnumbered. When they get power, people will throw them out of it ASAP, which is why their first order of business will be to strip people of the power to throw them out.

Just look at Putin, it's what he did, and he's given them all a nice, new playbook to follow. No longer do they have to make deals with the generals, they just have to ram bad legislation through a wimpy legislative body.

And yes, it can happen here. It won't be of long duration, it never is, but the next time it will be bloody.
