Sha’Carri Richardson was removed from an American Airlines flight following a conflict with a flight attendant. In video footage shared by the track and field star on social media, she explained her side of the story.

“Tell me if I’ll be wrong to pursue legal actions against the airline,” she wrote in the Instagram caption of one video. She went on to describe what allegedly occurred in the clip.

“In the beginning of the video you can hear a Caucasian male state that he doesn’t give a f as a man that male flight attendant is intimidating a woman. Also the captain not doing anything to help the situation and this flight attendant has the applause when I exited the plane when I’m pretty serious the disrespect I received would not have happened if I was a one of them. One of them even stated good luck with your ban ( I see he took the time to do some research but not stand up for what’s right).”

According to MSN, the Texas representative shared a post on her Instagram story describing how the flight attendant “asked to see that my phones were in airplane mode at this point, which I did in front of him.”

In a series of posts and stories on her official Instagram, the 22-year-old says that a male flight attendant asked her to get off a phone call, which she did before telling him that she didn't like his tone.

"Following that while standing in front of me doing the safety protocols he continued to lean over to look at my phone," Richardson said in an Instagram story tagging American Airlines. "He asked to see that my phones were in airplane mode at this point. He demanded that me show him. Which I did in front of him."

Is there more to it? So far she's not explained (that I can find) what the flight attendant did originally that was so offensive. Everyone has to shut off their phones, right? I wonder what his tone was...It could have been rude, or worse?

...Sha'Carri needs to immediately follow the flight attendant's instructions like the rest of us. All that lip isn't necessary or appreciated on an airplane by flight attendants or passengers of any demographic.

but from what little I can glean from this story, it appears someone doesn't think they have to follow the same rules everyone else does. Get off the call and turn off your goddamn phone. The rules don't exist merely to piss her off.

I wouldn't last a week as a flight attendant before I got kicked off the plane and fired. I do not suffer fools and stupid humans.
