(51,091 posts)I was in a 7 day power outage in Maryland in July 2012 after a derecho storm. Call centers in India refused to believe that large swaths of an American state would have no power for 7 days.

To avoid accepting the need to counter it, they moved to embracing climate change as not a big problem. And here they are, denying the next, unstoppable stage of lessons. This one's in their own faces, though.
