SAN FRANCISCO Twitter experienced widespread problems Wednesday as users trying to post instead got error messages, the most serious disruption in the service since Elon Musk bought the platform in October.
It was not immediately clear what caused the disruption or if the problems were universal, but many users received an error message that they were "over the daily limit for sending Tweets."

If the current owner wasn't so nefarious, I might have chalked it up to testing some algorithm to detect bot accounts based on frequency of posts. But since he is determined to micromanage the monetization of the thing, then...

(51,559 posts)I got thus error message that I had reached my 2,500 daily tweet limit. But I'd only retweeted a couple dozen tweets all day. The odd thing is Biden's is only tweet it wouldn't let me retweet.
