David Petraeus will testify on Benghazi

Source: politico

Gen. David Petraeus will testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein told POLITICO Wednesday morning. But the exact schedule has not been set for his testimony.

“Mr. Petraeus has indicated his willingness [to testify]. He is eager to come before the committee so we will work out the details,” Feinstein said.

I heard cuts of Hannity this morning going nuts on Libya. Talking impeachment. Just ridiculous.

they howled about the "timing" of his resignation. That he wouldn't have testified if they hadn't made a stink about it.

...that Mr. Petraeus is being forced to testify, in lieu of jail time--probably by Leon Panetta. The scandal with his highly suspect--and, God knows, strange--girlfriends--is only the tip of the iceberg of Petraeus misconduct, and very probable crimes (if not outright treason), in my opinion. But I admit it's an opinion--and speculation, at this point. Why should we "trust you" that Petraeus testifying on Benghazi is "his gambit"? You have an inside source?

He only had his career to lose, legacy maybe, but, if he went ahead and called "someones bluff" and resigned allowing for all of this to come out on his own timing and stil testify!, He has something to say, what honor he has left he will cash in big time. This is just getting started. Heads will roll.

think he can say whatever he wants but this is just a political goose chase when we have more important things to do. Is the investigation about what happened concluded yet? These side investigations are just attempts by certain Polticians to make something out of nothing there. They will fall flat on their faces again. When the dust clears, I think the people driving this charade should be driven out of Congress. And I'll make this clear, I really want this fight with the GOP hacks like John McCain and especially Senator Graham of South Carolina. I want it all on a national stage to expose th people of South Carolina what Graham really represents. McCain needs to be exposed also as a fraud. Neither represent everybody in their States but just a certain constituency.
