A train carrying fuel and timber derailed and caught fire after an explosion on the railway in Unetsky district, Bryansk Oblast, which borders Ukraine. According to Governor Alexander Bogomaz, there were no casualties.

Governor Bogomaz reported in his Telegram channel that an unidentified explosive device detonated on the railway track, causing the locomotive of the freight train to derail. The incident occurred at the 136th kilometer of the Bryansk-Unetsa railway track.

The Russian Telegram channel “Baza” reported that the train was carrying 60 wagons loaded with fuel and timber, and that 7-8 of the wagons have overturned and caught fire. The extent of the damage caused by the explosion and subsequent fire is currently unknown.

The little red marker is the site of the boom & derailment

No casualties reported (possibly because partisans are more humane that Wagner & Russian troops?)

edited for typo, cuz that's how I type

.... with Russia by about 50 to 100 miles. I bet you the fuel and timbers were for Russia's
war on the people of Ukraine.

At this point, I don't care who's responsible, just get russia out of Ukraine.

I wish we would've done more for Chechnya. Maybe would've delayed or stopped putin's thirst for war.

They've been a lot more active than the Kremlin wants to admit. This sounds like resistance, the explosion timed to the arrival of the train, although it's within the range of previous drone strikes using souped up Soviet era drones.

ETA: There is video, it was too big for them to hide:

Might want to watch with sound off, obnoxious music alert, but it was the least offensive I could find.

Free Russia forces have claimed responsibility.

Why is Russia so goddamn warmongering? Seems like they have been a mean, warlike people forEVER.

Wonder what it would be like if they had a real democracy and joined the rest of the world in cooperation?
