Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is getting a push toward a run for the White House in some new political ads. They're airing in key early primary states.

But the recent TV and digital ads come from a pro-DeSantis political action committee called Never Back Down, launched by former Trump loyalists.
In one ad airing in South Carolina and New Hampshire, the camera drifts off a fuzzy picture of Trump to news clippings of a victorious DeSantis as the former MAGA voter replaces his Trump bumper sticker with that of his former protégé....................................
......... Former Democratic National Committee Chair and Florida congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz says the ads simply don't show the real DeSantis.
He's a MAGA extremist who is a vindictive individual who is willing to use the power of his office to weaponize government to hurt other people and businesses, Wasserman Schultz said................

I think many are looking for a fresh, new face for the Repug Party. But I do not think most people know how very MEAN DeSantis really is. IMHO he is cruel. just plain cruel.

(675 posts)since after the Super Bowl, it seems. Just the same ad, too. Can't even watch Jeopardy without seeing it two or three times. Followed by the Trump ad. It's going to be a long summer unless something changes.
