Bryan Kohberger, the suspect in the murder of four University of Idaho students late last year, has been indicted by a grand jury.
The indictment includes four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary, according to the documents filed in Latah County District Court.
He will appear for his arraignment in Moscow, Idaho, on Monday and enter a plea, according to multiple sources.
Kohberger, a 28-year-old Ph.D. student at Washington State University's department of criminal justice and criminology, was arrested on first-degree murder and burglary charges in December after a six-week search. He has not entered a plea.

(15,359 posts)day I believe. The Lewis-Clark valley.
I'm wondering if he had a compulsion for killing and decided to pull some burglaries, thinking he'd kill could just kill anyone that got in his way as a bonus? It sure wouldn't make sense to set out to kill four people with just a knife.

(7,444 posts)I think, if they look hard enough, there will be other unsolved murders that will be linked to him. This did not appear to be a clumsy, first attempt.

(15,359 posts)him with burglary because they could. That may have nothing to do with it. I just can't imagine a guy going for a killing like that with just a knife. If he was just after one person, his plan was not good. I guess we'll find out.

(7,444 posts)He obviously thought he could get away with it, clearly was planned. He didn't expect there to be as many cameras as there were in the end. There was a similar murder in Oregon not too long before, I think they need to be checking this guys travel records, I guarantee you this was not his first.

(38,956 posts)Purportedly.
Then I think it became an existential game to him - could he, a misunderstood genius, get away with it?
Killing the couple was probably a mistake - he may have picked the wrong room 1st.

(34,585 posts)I watched the "Flying Bronco" fly him from PA to Moscow on Flight Aware. It was fun tracking the flight. It was a very small single engine plane which fueled twice.
This was in January
