Pence files paperwork to launch 2024 presidential campaign
Source: Washington Post
Pence will formally launch his campaign Wednesday, according to a person with knowledge of his plans who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they have not yet been announced publicly. So far, seven Republicans have formally announced campaigns for the 2024 GOP nomination, including Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, former Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson and Sen. Tim Scott (S.C.).
North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (R) and former New Jersey governor Chris Christie (R) are also planning to launch presidential campaigns this week.
Several other potential GOP candidates remain on the fence. One, New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu, said Monday that he had decided not to run for president.

(799 posts)Is the former guy paying these all to run against him so that the opposition will be split? Remember that the republican party has a winner take all primary system, so the more that run against him, the easier it is for him to take the majority and walk away with the nomination. Just like he did the other two times.....
Would you take a bunch of money just to file to run, make a few TV appearances to boost your brand awareness, then stand up on a stage and be hammered by an orange blob? Of course, knowing full well that you're going to lose, but Hey!, that's the point !!
If I was a maggot, and I thought that it might help my dear leader win the presidency again, I just might......JUST KIDDING !!!!

Were it not for the infamous Jan 6 when he actually did what he was expected to do, what else has he ever done to merit being a president? Whiny chose him because he knew he would just follow his instructions. Remember that video of a meeting when he would take a sip of water every time Whiny did?
