Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin - who led a short-lived rebellion in Russia last month - is in Russia and not Belarus, the leader of Belarus says.

(5,352 posts)I don't believe the whole "Prigozhin on the outs with Putin" meme for a moment. The whole scenario of the past few weeks was staged and the way I see Prigozhin's Russian visit is to:
Get his orders from Putin on Wagner's next moves and they are crossing their t's and dotting their i's. Prigozhin will soon enough be back in Belarus and on the move with Wagner, but where and doing what? Poland, the Baltics, western Ukraine or possibly Kyiv? I hope I'm wrong, but this whole thing stinks like a pig pen on a hot August day.
