Bernard Kerik, close ally of Rudy Giuliani, meets with special counsel in Trump Jan. 6 probe

WASHINGTON - Donald Trump ally Bernard Kerik, a friend of alleged co-conspirator Rudy Giuliani, met Monday with prosecutors in charge of the case that accuses Trump of seeking to overthrow his 2020 election loss, Kerik’s lawyer said. The interview dealt largely with Giuliani's actions in what he called an effort to fight voter fraud – and what special counsel Jack Smith called an illegal conspiracy to steal the 2020 election from President Joe Biden.

“Bernard Kerik sat with Special Counsel’s Office and told them the truth," his attorney Timothy Parlatore said in a statement. "Whether people agree with it or not, and even if some of the claims have since been debunked, the unavoidable reality is that the Giuliani team was making a good faith effort to investigate claims of fraud at the time," Parlatore said.

He added: "It is unfortunate that Jack Smith didn’t wait until finishing his investigation before bringing an indictment based on a false theory and making his own false public statements." Giuliani, one of the unnamed co-conspirators in the Trump indictment, has also denied wrongdoing.

But Kerik's interview by the special counsel team, which his lawyer said lasted nearly five hours, suggests that prosecutors are now homing in on Giuliani in their ongoing investigation into the alleged conspiracy to overturn the former president’s loss in the 2020 election.

As a note, Kerik used to be the NYC Police Commissioner when Ghouliani was mayor, and also served time for fraud, but got one of the coveted 45 pardons.

What I have discovered the past couple weeks is that piles of articles never actually appear "live" on the news sites at the listed publication times (I know because I go through them continually during those times), but suddenly appear early the next day.

and Rudy is about to be disbarred for using it. Neither Kerik or Giuliani could vouch for the research or for the qualifications of the people who conducted it.

Maybe Giuliani paid for Bernie's pardon ... I don't know.

Let's assume that Kerik's loyalty is to Rudy, not to Chump.

Is not "good faith" in any sane sense.

As your client and his pal know, full well, prosecutors don't need to complete investigations before indicting criminals. Your client's pal had zero problems with convicting mid-level criminals before getting to their bosses, and you know that, too.

Your client also didn't have any problem shaking down random brown people without cause, after his mayor pal told him to. In fact, your client pursued that like Bull Connor with an attack dog.

So spare us your whining about your client and his pal finding out what it feels like to be on the wrong side of the law.

Justice matters.

to support his co-conspiring BS (as per Bill Barr, no less...).

He can believe in ghosts also if he wants to, like everyone else, but once the Electoral College vote is done on December 14, the "fight" with zero credible evidence is also done. Over. Then the Constitution prevails.
