(6,670 posts)How can they find anonymous individuals, with anonymous accounts, on anonymous forums that are hosted by uncooperative admins on dark-web servers with anonymous ISPs and anonymous VPNs, and anonymous IP addresses, using "incognito" mode on their browsers?
Seems like an impossible task.

(8,758 posts)law enforcement can subpoena records. most of what we think is anonymous is actually not. I doubt the average Maga knows how to use a tor browser set up properly.
These guys just make threats on right-wing discussion boards and will get caught. Law enforcement can ask the providers for the logs and even VPN providers will have to give it to them.
True, if you know what you are doing you can hide from that too ( multiple VPN setups in a ring) but again, I think the majority of these guys are stupid.

(6,670 posts)--then they're probably too stupid to know how to cover their tracks.

VPN use just puts a target on you at ISP level?

(23,398 posts)of the grand jury members in the first place! It wasn't shared as part of a news story or casual conversation. The information was shared maliciously so that members of the crime organization to whom the charges were levied can seek retribution through their violent organized crime loving and impressionable surrogates.

(7,794 posts)We need an old fashioned execution for high treason. Trump was always for sale and we all saw him bow to his master on the world stage.

(7,988 posts)I hope Georgia considers changing things so jurors' names are kept private.

(23,694 posts)no other information.
I am not that smart; I just now read it in a Eugene Robinson column.
excerpt .....
In Georgia state courts, unlike in those other jurisdictions, grand jurors names are listed in the indictments they hand up. No other personal information is disclosed, but Trump supporters have posted what they purport to be photographs and addresses of some of the Fulton County grand jurors on social media. County officials have declined to comment on what, if any, security arrangements have been made.
