Joe Wurzelbacher, known as 'Joe the Plumber' in 2008 election, dies at 49

Source: BNO News

Joe Wurzelbacher, the Ohio man who became well-known as “Joe the Plumber” after questioning Barack Obama about his tax plan during the 2008 election campaign, has died after a battle with cancer. He was 49.

Wurzelbacher died on Sunday morning after a months-long battle with pancreatic cancer, according to close friends. He is survived by his wife Katie, their three young children – Samantha Jo, Henry and Sarah Jo – and an adult son, Joey, from a previous marriage.

A crowdfunding campaign for Wurzelbacher’s family raised more than $120,000.

Wurzelbacher rose to national fame after asking Barack Obama, then the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, about his tax plan and whether he’d have to pay more as a small business owner.

After saying this when a misogynistic dirtbag murdered 7 innocent people and seriously injured 14 others in Santa Barbara:

"As harsh as this sounds—your dead kids don't trump my Constitutional rights."

If you want compassion when you go, then don't be an evil piece of shite who cares more about your stupid, worhtless penis substitute than other people getting killed.

Good riddance to scum of the earth.

Despite his mistakes and flaws, he was another human being, with people who loved him and he loved. We will never achieve our goals if we can't see the humanity in the people we view as enemies. Especially if the basis for those views is merely political.

i've been reading his wiki page.

gee, he obviously thought he was hot shit -- had to name 3 out of his 4 kids after himself
"Samantha Jo, Henry and Sarah Jo – and an adult son, Joey, from a previous marriage."

i guess that henry knows where he stands...

from wiki:
"Published reaction to Santa Barbara, California, mass shooting
In an open letter to the parents of victims who died in the 2014 Isla Vista killings,[95] Wurzelbacher wrote of his right to "protect my family" stating, "As harsh as this sounds—your dead kids don't trump my Constitutional rights ... We still have the Right to Bear Arms ... Any feelings you have toward my rights being taken away from me, lose those."[96][97][98]"

just such an asshole

boy, that republican party has been promoting these fucking low-life freaks for years, haven't they?

so now he's dead. WOMP WOMP

"...even in the face of this horrible incident by this sad and insane individual. I almost said 'Obama Voter' but I’m waiting for it to be official."

Because "Obama voters" collect guns, write lengthy 'manifestos,' and are all incels who despise women.

The other thing to note about this lying loser was, unable to get a plumber license or start a business, when his usefulness to Republicans mercifully came to an end and he was out of work, he found a job at Chrysler and had to join - the UAW! One of those unions he hated so much; a union that got him a decent wage, good working conditions, full and complete health insurance for his family, and a pension.

And the irony? If it wasn't for Obama and the Democratic Party bailing out the auto industry, that job would not have been there!

He'll never get the chance to figure out what a fucking idiot he was. But, at least he was an unprincipled liar. At least in the end he probably understood that his time on earth was short, and everything was Obama's fault.

I know that it's petty to speak ill of the dead but Joe Wurzelbacher lied through his teeth, just like a good little republican.

And, while I'm at it fuck Steve Schmidt. He does not get a pass either. He's the guy that orchestrated the McCain campaign that brought us Sarah Palin and the whole "let's play hawk in Georgia" episode.

However, at least Steve Schmidt has tried to make amends.

Unlike, "Joe the Plumber."

When you get your 15 minutes you should try not to end up in hell helping Linda Tripp polish Satan's anus.

For the millionth time, Steve Schmidt wasn't the deciding factor on Sarah Palin. He wasn't the one who pushed her for over a year. That was Bill Kristol and Fred Barnes.

He also wasn't the one who decided she would be the VP candidate. That was all on McCain. It was his call in the end, and he made it. He is ultimately responsible for that choice--NO ONE ELSE.

Stop blaming him for McCain's stupidity.

just because someone dies that makes them acceptable? Off limits? I don’t think so. The only thing death changes is that the person is no longer on earth. It doesn’t magically make them a good person.

I simply said I will not celebrate their death. Even bad people have those who love and depend on them. For their loss I will not grave dance. YMMV.

It's about this scumbag being a scumbag to 21 fricking people when they were mass-murdered by a right-wing lunatic. He went out of his way to do it.

He deserves no mercy, and no pity. He was evil. Evil people don't deserve compassion when they revel in the deaths of others.
