Trump bizarrely claims windmills are driving whales 'crazy' in South Carolina speech
Source: Yahoo News
Donald Trump said that windmills are driving whales a little batty and causing marine mammals to die in numbers never seen before as he went on a bizarre tirade in South Carolina.
The former president also attacked Joe Bidens regulations on speed boats as he spoke at a rally in the town of Summerville on Monday 25 September.
Vowing to overturn the regulations on day one of a return to the White House, he criticised the speed limits put in place to stop whale strikes.
Mr Trump then turned the focus on windmills and said they are causing whales to die in numbers never seen before.

(11,837 posts)On Morning Joe, Jonathan Lemire said the back story to this was that Scotland ordered Trump to pay $290,000 in legal costs over a wind power case.
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-47400641
BBC: Donald Trump's Aberdeenshire golf resort must pay the Scottish government's legal costs following a court battle over a major North Sea wind power development.
Mr Trump battled unsuccessfully in the courts to halt the project before he became US president.
A total of 11 turbines make up the development off Aberdeen.
Judges have now ruled Trump International Golf Club Scotland Ltd should pay the legal bills incurred. Mr Trump had argued the development would spoil the view from his golf course at Menie.

If something is not 100% to his liking at that time he automatically goes into attack mode. He may turn on a dime, however, and go after a person he championed if he doesn't always sing TFG's praises, e.g., former joint chiefs chairman Mark Milley.

(4,741 posts)He's a malignant narcissist, and he's mad that Scotland wouldn't agree with him to remove windmills in view of his naff golf property there.
Right on cue with a malignant narcissist, because he can't stand it that he didn't get his way, he'll start saying ***anything,*** no matter how dishonest, ludicrous or irrelevant, to make the opponent look bad so that he can have a 'win.' They do the exact same thing when they know they're losing an argument. They'll say ***anything,*** to make it seem like they've made the 'winning' point.
The opponent doesn't even need to be a person for them to act this way. He hates windmills, so he's saying ***anything*** to make them look bad, because that's what made him mad and won't go away. They keep reminding him of when he lost, the worst thing in the world to a narcissist. The losing causes something called narcissistic injury. And always--always--after narcissistic injury comes its partner, narcissistic rage.
I've had to live with narcissists--the 'ordinary' kind and the malignant. This 'say anything to win' tactic is what all of them do when someone has beaten them--at anything. Exhibit A: My mum, the garden variety narcissist. When I'm winning an argument with her, no matter what the subject is, she'll invariably retort with something like, 'Oh, what do you know? You're fat and ugly, so you're too stupid to know anything.'
Like I said, they'll say ***anything*** to win. They don't care what it is, as long as it makes them feel superior in the moment. And, no, they don't care if what they say is vicious and cruel. All that matters to them in that moment is the winning. I mean, if they'll say crap like 'you're stupid and ugly' to one of their own kids to 'win,' what chance does anyone else have of avoiding their narcissistic rage?

This was confirmed as well by Cassidy Hutchinson in yesterday's interview.

(13,582 posts)He just lost a big case where he sued for the removal of windmills near one of his Scottish golf courses. The court denied his case and ordered him to pay all legal fees. You see its always about him.
