Rep. Elise Stefanik adds to ethics complaint against judge in Trump civil fraud case after mistrial denied

Source: NBC News

Nov. 17, 2023, 8:08 PM EST

Rep. Elise Stefanik, a member of House GOP leadership, has filed new documents to her judicial ethics complaint from last week against the judge overseeing former President Donald Trump's civil fraud trial in New York.

In a letter Friday, the New York lawmaker added to her complaint by attaching the mistrial motion filed by Trump's attorneys accusing Judge Arthur Engoron of bias. The judge dismissed the mistrial bid on Friday afternoon.

The 30-page motion filed by Trump on Wednesday was “wrongly denied” by Engoron, Stefanik said in Friday's letter. Her original complaint accused the judge of exhibiting “clear judicial bias” against the former president, and called on him to recuse himself.

The complaint argued that Engoron had illegally infringed on Trump’s protected political speech and that he violated political contribution rules by making donations to Democrats as recently as 2018.

Hey shitwit Stefanik! Orange tinted white skin is not a license for unrestricted, unhinged mumbo jumbo. As a matter of fact no one gets a license for unrestricted, unhinged mumbo jumbo. Your complaint is a loser. You're defending a loser. You are a loser. Everyone who champions you is a loser. You lost. You will continue to lose and it's all on tape. If there's a Pearly Gates, they'll replay it all for you before they push the button to the door to hell. Byyyyyyyyyyyyyye.

second in command...file "mean judge" complaints that will go nowhere because she really really wants to be Trump's VP...

as I recall Elise's pal Gym went so far as to subpoena Alvin Bragg who told him to fuck off, Marc Pomerantz, honoring a subpoena, pretty much "spit" in Gym's face..and then there's Gym picking a fight with Fani Willis who all but shoved a law book up his ass...

the definition of insanity is very strong in Trump ass-kissing MAGA morons...

they can likely impeach a judge for illegal behaviour but there are no grounds for that.

So, my question as her constituent is,

"What is she getting from Trump to do something like this?"
Who wrote it?

She's consistently on the wrong end of just about everything. She almost lost her post due to the dire failure of so many GOP/MAGAT candidates in recent elections. In fact, some moved to dump her due to the poor performance of her staff after spending millions in media buys. By George, I was happy she b.s.'ed her way into staying as she is our best weapon as opposed to a competent leader they could have installed.

I say, let her stay and muck up even more GOP efforts!

Everyone has the right to free speech. But words, like actions, have consequences. Is that not covered in law school anymore?

Always forget that free speech isn't a one-way street. You can say X, but others can say not-X in return. Our being able to 'talk back' drives these nazis insane. To them, they have the right to say anything, but the rest of us, especially the uppity women and minorities, have only two rights: To agree with them, or SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP 'cause white boy says so.

Furthermore, while speech may be free, it's not unlimited. Some things you can say aren't legal. Like violent threats. Like perjury. Or opening your face anus after a judge has told you to shut yer gob.

You'd think Americans would know how that works, given how many 'law & order' shows they watch on the telly, but, alas, that is not the case.
