Balance of Nature says it is back in business after FDA shutdown

Balance of Nature says it has resumed selling and shipping its dietary supplements, following a court-ordered pause of its operations earlier this month over concerns raised by the Food and Drug Administration.
The FDA had asked a federal judge to block the two Utah-based companies behind Balance of Nature Evig LLC and Premium Productions LLC from the market in October. At the time, the agency cited "repeated violations of manufacturing requirements," unfounded claims by the brand in marketing its products and concerns that Balance of Nature supplements may not actually contain what they claimed to.
Now Balance of Nature says it has been able to resume "normal operations and shipping timelines" ahead of the holiday season, despite "soaring demand" for their products. "We extend our sincere gratitude to our customers for their patience and continuous support, and we remain committed to delivering the highest quality products and exceptional service," Evig's CEO Lex Howard said in a release.
In a letter shared with CBS News by Daryl Farnsworth of Balance of Nature, an FDA official told the company that it had appeared to now be "in compliance" with supplement regulations and that it would be allowed to resume manufacturing and distributing its supplements.

What a scam.
It was a pain in the ass to cancel.
Nobody should buy directly from them. They stick you with compulsory renewals and the bottles never stop coming. You end up with a bunch of bottles you will never use because they do go bad. Whatever they put in those capsules oxidizes and changes color after a few months, so they definitely don't keep well. If you must quench your desire to try it, just buy 1 bottle off Amazon, without signing up for automatic deliveries. You'll quickly learn it's worthless.

(53,994 posts)They say it's made of whole fruits and vegetables. Probably true, but they're dehydrated. How many dehydrated strawberries does it take to fill a gelatin capsule? One? Maybe. I look at a head of broccoli and imagine it dehydrated and stuffed into capsules. You could turn that $3 head into $3,000 or more.

(6,619 posts)"Exercise in a bottle". My sister fell for it and ordered the snake oil pills which of course didn't work. They had a 6o day money back guarantee. So on the 55th day, we called to take advantage of the guarantee. The person on the phone said it usually takes longer than 60 days to show results. LOL We got our money back anyway.
