Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., on Sunday wouldn’t commit to certifying the 2024 election results during an interview on NBC News’ “Meet the Press.”

While interviewing Stefanik, who serves in House Republican leadership, host Kristen Welker asked, “Would you vote to certify, and will you vote to certify, the results of the 2024 election no matter what they show?”

Stefanik, who has boosted former President Donald Trump’s baseless claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 election, said that she did not vote to certify the 2020 results in the state of Pennsylvania and several other states because there were “unconstitutional acts circumventing the state legislature and unilaterally changing election law.”

After Welker pressed her again on the matter, Stefanik wouldn’t commit to certifying the election results and criticized efforts to remove Trump from the ballot in Colorado, Maine and other states.

“We will see if this is a legal and valid election,” she said. “What we’re seeing so far is that Democrats are so desperate, they’re trying to remove President Trump from the ballot. That is a suppression of the American people. And the Supreme Court is taking that case up in February — that should be a nine to zero to allow President Trump to appear on the ballot because that’s the American people’s decision to make this November.”

Nor does the vice president certify anything, the vp simply reads and totals the results.
And finally this congress won't be doing anything as a new congress takes over before the results are tallied.

the process that was disrupted on Jan 6, 2021.

If a Representative and a Senator object to a state's submitted Electoral Votes, the Joint Session is recessed while each house of Congress debate and vote on the objection. If the objection is upheld in both houses, the state's votes are disqualified. This can open up to consideration of an alternative slate or could throw the election to Congress if no candidate receives 270 Electoral Votes. In such a case, the House of Representatives elects the President based on one state, one vote. 26 Votes being necessary. The Senate elects the Vice President based on one senator, one vote with 51 being required. The sitting Vice President (if there is one) can break a tie. If the voting is continuing past noon on January 20th, there is no sitting VP and the President Pro Tempore presides with their individual vote as a Senator.

Recent history includes multiple Republican and Democratic members not voting to certify the results. Newsweek reported the following on Jan 13, 2021:

Even though Republicans were able to get two objections formally considered in 2021, they objected to votes from only six states. It should be noted, however, that the Capitol riot earlier in the day kept the number of objections lower than expected.

In 2017, House Democrats objected to votes from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Wisconsin. Objections also were made after the announcement of votes from Mississippi, Michigan and Wyoming, adding up to nine states. None of the nine objections was considered because they lacked the signature of a senator.

The electoral votes are certified by each state. The objection process allows for a rejection of a specific state certification, and is rarely invoked and even more rarely successful.

The house does not certify anything.

The role of the vp is to count those votes. It is ceremonial. This fact was disputed by the Trump gang, who insisted that Pence had some authority to reject the certified votes. Pence, to his credit, refused to go along.
