Rudy Giuliani Lists His Financial Assets in Bankruptcy File

Rudy Giuliani has listed his assets in his bankruptcy files, which include a multi-million-dollar beachside property, a retro Mercedes-Benz and a possible legal claim against Donald Trump. The former Trump lawyer said there was an undetermined sum he could potentially claim against the former president, along with a defamation action against President Joe Biden.
Newsweek has approached the White House and a spokesperson for Trump for comment via email out of hours. Biden's son Hunter was previously named as a creditor in Giuliani's bankruptcy petition. Giuliani's total listings come to $10,632,334, of which $9.1 million is real estate. The figure from the January 26 filing is far lower than the $148 million defamation judgment issued against him after he was sued by two Georgia election workers.
Among Giuliani's property assets is his Palm Beach, Florida, home valued at $3.5 million, and his grand apartment in New York coming in at $5.6 million. That property, in the city where Giuliani was once the mayor, was reported in August last year as being up for sale for $6.5 million, complete with an oak-paneled dining room and library.
The Upper East Side residence was reportedly purchased for just under $4.8 million in 2002, according to a report by The Guardian. The U.K. news outlet spoke to Judith Giuliani, the lawyer's third wife. She said the apartment was a welcome place for respite. Rudy Giuliani would "smoke cigars and relax and watch his Yankee games," Judith Giuliani added.
