RNC chair: We're 'going to be in the room' when votes are cast, counted in November

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chair Michael Whatley said the committee will ensure they are “going to be in the room” when the early votes are cast and counted in the November election.

Whatley said the RNC is going to “ensure” each state has “good rules of the road” and “thousands” of attorneys present when votes are being cast in November to make sure the ballots are “protected” and the integrity of the election is preserved. “We want to make sure that every state has good rules of the road, right,” Whatley said in an interview with radio talk show host John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM’s “Cats Roundtable.”

“So we’re working with the legislatures, we’re working with the boards of elections, the Secretaries of States to make sure that the laws, the rules, the regulations, that cover elections are where we need them to be,” he said. The recently elected chair of the RNC said that if those rules, laws and regulations are not where they want them to be, the committee is going to sue.

“And if they’re not, we’re going to sue,” Whatley, who was elected with the backing of former President Trump, said during the interview. He said he has already filed 80 lawsuits in 24 different states to ensure there will be “good, solid” election rules in place.

I do know they are planning to challenge a huge number of voters, forcing them to cast provisional ballots. If the rules are changed so that all the votes must be counted by the end of election day, there's no way they'll get to the provisional ballots.

TFG is already claiming the election will be stolen. The coup is already in progress -- January 6 was just a rehearsal. We must fight for our democracy! The Repugs are making no secret of what their goal is -- and has been for at least 50 years.

Attorney General - Rob Bonta (A minority [Filipino] to scare the old white dude and his MAGAts)

I wouldn't be surprised if Biden wins CA by more than 30 points this time. Could be between 35 or 40.

33. In 2020 here in PA they DID try and made a big production about it

and we had a Democratic Governor (Tom Wolf), Democratic Secretary of Commonwealth/State (Kathy Boockvar), and Democratic AG (Josh Shapiro who is now the governor). All 3 this year are either Democrats or appointed by a Democrat (current Secretary of Commonwealth/State Al Schmidt was appointed by (D) Josh Shapiro after his heroic stance here in Philly as the lone (R) City Commissioner (which handles elections) who held off the loons and testified at the J6 Hearings)

The insurrectionist Kraken Krew and their lackeys in state government here in PA, filed at least a dozen or more suits against the state (out of 60+ during that election year), in state and/or federal court. A suit dealing with the legality of requiring a "date on the envelope" has still been in litigation, the latest ruling just over a week ago. I expect that to be appealed.

In CA it's not so much the top of the ticket but targeting swing Congressional Districts (like Katie Porter's) so they can pick up seats.

Seems like thousands of potentially disbarred people who are going to make poor choices. This tactic should not intimidate anyone. Follow the rules, get your vote in, and thumb your nose at the MAGAS. What are they gonna do, billy club you to death in the line? Since they don't have a viable platform, or a candidate with any character, or any other pathway to the Presidency, this is all they have. So, they are threatening a whole lotta lawsuits when they LOSE. All this means is setting the stage for false claims. It doesn't mean that they will find thousands of attorneys willing to give up their credentials for Trump. Remember, the US Government has more money and resources than the depleted RNC. Trump stole their vigor from them. They will not win such a battle.

I think Trump will be a convicted felon by November. How embarrassing.
