Moscow blames West for Ukraine's long-range weapon strikes inside Russia

Source: VOA

Russia’s Foreign Ministry accused Western nations Friday of “playing with fire” by allowing Ukraine to use the long-range rockets and weapons they had supplied to strike targets inside Russia.

"Once again, we should like to unequivocally warn Washington, London, Brussels and other Western capitals, as well as Kyiv, which is under their control, that they are playing with fire. Russia will not leave such encroachments on its territory unanswered," a ministry statement said.

The statement also singled out the United States and Britain and accused them of escalating the conflict between Russia and Ukraine by allowing Kyiv to use Western-supplied weapons inside Russia. White House national security spokesperson John Kirby told reporters Friday that the Biden administration does not encourage or enable attacks with U.S.-supplied weapons inside Russia.

At least one person was killed and another injured in Russia’s southern Belgorod region when a Ukrainian drone hit the border village of Novaya Nomovka, regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote Friday on the Telegram social media app. The Russian Defense Ministry reported later that it intercepted and destroyed 14 multiple-launch rockets originating from Ukraine.

War is horrid, you started it, deal with the consequences of your behavior.

Dear Russia - Ukraine is not yours to take.

Russia can invade Ukraine, destroy its buildings and kill its citizens.

But as soon Ukraine does the same back to Russia, they start to complain!

Who decided the border was for one way traffic only? I must have missed that memo.

We have enough nukes to destroy the world too you know.

I've never agreed with Biden's caution on Ukraine striking deep in Russian territory. Ukraine is not an existential threat to the Russian state so they'll never use nukes. It's an empty threat.

Is that something like little Bush having full immunity or Dems cleaning up after their dirty Saudi terrorist leaders who OK'kd attacks on NYC towers and a particular US-based journalist because Daddy couldn't/wouldn't. I still think Rudy sniffed too many fumes as America's Mayor post-attack while imbibing to excess which made him so susceptible to MAGA brain infestation(s) and TSF's fascist, racist, misogynist, insurrectionist, secret-stealing and/or worse, Putinist BS.

To retaliate against Europe and us for backing Ukraine, I’m reminded of a comedy bit Robin Williams did about Muamar Qaddafi, back in the ‘80s. “Cross this line you die. OK, cross this line you die.” 😂

He was a comedic genius. Same with the late, great George Carlin.

If Russia doesn't like having the sources of the devastation in Ukraine attacked, all they have to do is get the Hell out of Ukraine. Rather brazen to start a war and then complain that the recipients of that attack fight back. Who do they think they are, Elon Musk?

The genocidal bully is crying. The Ruzzian Kharkiv offensive is failing, high-value Ruzzian Crimean targets are being destroyed and oil terminals are blowing up near Pooties Sochi. Maybe you should never have invaded Ukraine.

There is something really off in the Russian psyche…

Wait until we deliver the new PrSMs for the HIMARS launchers...then they'll really start screaming.
The Precision Strike Missile has a five hundred kilometer range and can reach Moscow from Ukrainian territory (or any of the Baltic States, for that matter). All our NATO allies want this new weapon.

that his special military operation to liberate the Ukrainian Russians from the Nazi like local Ukrainians didn't go to plan.

It was supposed to take only a few days, just a walk in the park, Russian tanks rolling in to be greeted by cheering crowds.

Something went wrong there, I think. (Everything went wrong, really.)
