No surprise she is in the lead. This congressional district is basically Nebraska politically but within the Colorado border

(113,192 posts)and quite a few non-MAGA R's who oppose her, so this is not so meaningful for the "General." Not to mention that even in this primary poll, there were 40% UNDECIDED.
All it means is she has the lead for the primary, which given her competition has largely imploded, that is not so unusual. But with 40% not yet weighing in, all bets are off.

The larger point of concern is that no reasonable, able Republican wants to oppose Bobbett for fear of hostility by right-wing adherents.

(6,514 posts)to be a contest between two rival factions of the Republican Party those most associated with the trump machine, and those more aligned with the GOP's traditional wing.
I think Boebert would be an ideal candidate for the Democratic nominee to campaign against, as she's a less intelligent, savvy, and well-spoken person than even Sarah Palin. The contrast between leadership on one hand, and public lewdness and trashy behavior on the other would be a good sell.
