Tesla Cybertrucks vandalized in Florida with some choice messages attacking Elon Musk.

Source: Business Insider

Dozens of Tesla Cybertrucks were vandalized in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this week.
The Cybertrucks were spray painted with a message attacking Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Cybertrucks have become a symbol of ire for Elon Musk's many critics.

Tesla Cybertrucks have become symbolic. But probably not in the way Tesla CEO Elon Musk hoped.

Nearly three dozen Cybertrucks were vandalized this week in Florida with disparaging messages aimed specifically at Musk.

A 35-second viral video showing the aftermath of the vandalism spree in a Fort Lauderdale parking lot first gained traction on Instagram on Friday.

Well, this doesn't affect musk, other than his pride. The dealership's insurance eats the cost. Also, they're such ugly vehicles. Ugly! Ugly! Ugly!

And as the article states, "The vehicles were quickly cleaned or taken off the lot." So the dealer was able to clean the paint off or had their insurance take care of it.

This does nothing to Musk. It only injures the owners of the trucks.

It's depressing to see these actions applauded on DU.

I would have purchased a Model 3 by now if I did not find Elon Musk to be such an arrogant and abrasive individual. However, that being said, these vandals are no better. They have no right to damage other people's property, regardless of their feelings towards Musk.

Tesla has sold directly to consumers and serviced its own cars since entering the market in 2013, and it showed this model works. Buyers can "check out the cars in showrooms at malls and then buy online," Alexander Sammon wrote at Slate. "Online sales minimized interactions with oleaginous salesmen and added price transparency, which did away with the haggling. Tesla, meanwhile, ended up making more money by not having to sell its cars to dealers, who would then mark them up."

It's the answer to a question no one asked, but if people want to buy and drive one, well . . . just look the other way when the misguided fool drives past you.

There must be a more direct way to express your anger towards Musk, surely?

But the Tesla company has pushed more development on electric vehicles than any vehicle manufacturer. I doubt many conventional manufactures would have rushed to electric without the competition. There are many engineers in the company working on the tech, we do not need to lump all the hate of musk on them.

Vandalism is ok as long as you don’t like the owner, or if you think they make and ugly product.
As long as insurance covers it, it’s also ok.
But as soon as the insurance company increases premiums to cover loses, or stops insuring certain high loss areas, they are the demons.

Not to my liking, but the "Aztec" was still worse.

Again, my opinion doesn't matter but if Musk wasn't a complete DICK I'd be cheering Tesla on.
