Thomas and Alito clearly being the worst, but Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Comey-Barrett are all also proven liars with their statements regarding precedent and their rulings clearly trashing it in every available instance. They are all ideologue scumbags, and no amount of 'seriousness' can wash clean the fact that the majority was stolen and at least 5 of the 6 'conservatives' do not belong on the court at all.

The first thing a new Democratic administration should do in January of 2025 is restructure the court via new justices. Increase the court to 15 total members, and nominate 9 per session to hear and adjudicate cases.

IN A PERFECT WORLD (WHICH WE DO NOT INHABIT)....
An additional suggestion to the judiciary: the Circuit Court system of the Federal judiciary should be used to nominate and select justices for appointment from each circuit, 15 in total, all to serve 10-year term/appointments - and to be replaced by nomination from the circuit, presidential review and nomination, and congressional review and consent.

The naming of a new chief justice would be done every 5 years, and no justice would be eligible for more than 2 terms in a lifetime. Upon the expiration of their first term, the justices would stand for re-election by the people, and not be permitted to rule on cases that they have any apparent conflict of interests at all, including during a re-election year, where they would be advisory-only members of the court, not voting members to decide cases.

The minimum age for a justice shall be 35 years, and the maximum age of a justice to begin a term shall be 75 years. If a first time justice were confirmed at age 75, they would be eligible for only a single term on the court. Former justices would be emeritus members of the court until death, but would have no official role in cases or votes on the resolution of questions before the court's sessions.

Viola! An independent judiciary is restored and we can get back to actually passing laws and making policy decisions based on intended outcomes and justice rather than overturning settled law by judicial fiat or conflicted acquiescence of a compromised few.
