Harris raised $82M during convention, $540M since announcing candidacy

Source: The Hill

Vice President Harris’s campaign raised $82 million during the Democratic convention and has brought in a staggering $540 million since she entered the presidential race roughly one month ago.

Harris campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon in a memo shared with reporters on Sunday highlighted a surge in donations and volunteers from last week’s convention in Chicago. The campaign saw its best grassroots fundraising hour to date immediately following Harris’s acceptance speech on Thursday.

One-third of the donations during convention week came from first-time contributors, O’Malley Dillon wrote, with teachers and nurses among the most common occupations for donors.

O’Malley Dillon also touted the number of volunteers it has signed up, citing it as a sign of enthusiasm for Harris’s candidacy. The campaign signed up individuals for 200,000 new volunteer shifts since the convention began. “Bottom line: The Convention was a galvanizing moment for the Harris-Walz coalition throughout the country, energizing and mobilizing volunteer and grassroots donors alike,” O’Malley Dillon wrote.

I am sick of all the bullshit Dump campaign ads. Even though they are recognizably stupid, I know the magats will believe anything.

and other social media but so far, have supposedly targeted them at swing states. I expect those outlets are looking at cookies to determine if the ad should run for a particular viewer.

That bullcrap ad with Ronald Reagan etc. There are so many gullible people out there that think this crap is truthful and it's not. Also, I am getting those plastic coated fliers in the mail now which have the nerve to say Dump will protect Social Security and on the other side lies through it's ass claiming Harris will cut it. I couldn't believe it. The are in full blown lie out the ass mode and I trust anything they say as much as the lying three SCOTUS justices he appointed that sat there and said they would honor precedence. F@@# them lying pigs.

and call it a day.

They have your location and are targeting those ads to you. I haven't seen any GOP ads with the blocker but have seen Harris ads when popping by the ABC News website where they have an embedded "ABC News Now" stream going in the upper right-hand corner and suddenly, up will pop an ad on their stream. Every time it happens, I am moving too slow to do a screen cap of it but I am going to keep trying.

I have heard a McCormick (R) for Senate ad here in Philly on the news radio station I listen to at the same every day (just before 3:30 pm ET) and I immediately turn it off and then turn it back on after about a minute. But the Casey (D) ads have been prolific since the spring - especially on MSNBC where there have been back-to-back (in some cases, 3 in a row) ads.

It's all the magats that believe that crap reinforcing their idiocy and possibly swing voters thinking it's truthful.

there are plans for a sea-change come Labor Day, with a huge ad buy (digital and TV) for just after the holiday. So I guess we have to "stay tuned"!

But I am loving all the Harris ads I'm seeing on my phone here in SC, close to the Georgia line. Seems anything I look up, I see Harris first!

There's a buncha loons that comment and lie in them. I retort with truth and memes. Not to change their minds, but to influence Independents. Bunch more in the science ones I get. I carefully and simply explain astronomy principles to those who seem genuinely curious but are confused. Sometimes it works 😀

The rest loathe NdGT. Call him the n worth and display confederate filth. I sure wish we'd banned that in 1866 like Germany did Nazi symbolism. The only strategy is to mock and block. My block list is in the thousands.

It comes out of my entertainment budget. I just will skip some entertainment to afford it, since there are few reasons to be entertained in such serious times.

Right now, my friends are buying up Kamala Harris hats and t-shirts on Amazon and Etsy because they can't find nice designs (nor a women's cut tshirt) on Harris' campaign store. Hopefully that changes soon. I've been donating, but not buying campaign merchandise, hoping for a better selection.
