Trump Says He Had 'Every Right' to Interfere With Presidential Election

Source: Newsweek

Published Sep 01, 2024 at 10:20 PM EDT | Updated Sep 01, 2024 at 11:25 PM EDT

Former President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News' Mark Levin that he had "every right" to interfere with a presidential election.

The host of the Life, Liberty and Levin program talked about the Republican nominee's ongoing legal concerns amid the 2024 campaign, including Department of Justice special counsel Jack Smith's federal election subversion case.

Levin, a lawyer and longtime conservative commentator, said that President Joe Biden or Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris could tell the Attorney General to "knock it off" regarding the federal cases against Trump. He went on to ask, "this election interference never ends, does it?"

"Actually, but you know the good news it's so crazy that my poll numbers go up. Whoever heard you get indicted for interfering with a presidential election, where you have every right to do it, you get indicted, and your poll numbers go up. When people get indicted your pull numbers go down," Trump said during the second part of a recorded interview that aired Sunday night.

I still think that Trump will show NO remorse over his actions that caused 34 convictions, and respond with absolute nonsense when asked questions by the judge. This will allow the judge to order a psychiatric evaluation of Trump before final sentencing. Then they'll take him in to the big white building with padded walls, where everyone will be happy once again. Also no issues with how the Secret Service will provide protection.

That article is being very generous with interpreting what Pedo Trump said. It made no sense to me. I didn't get that meaning from the jumble of nonsense out of his mouth.

Soon the corporate media will have a permanent job for pedo Trump translators. Because the man is speaking a language all to himself. It's not proper English. It's not normal communicating. It's pedo Trump speak.

What he said in that interview(?) is gobbledygook. It has no real meaning. Pedo Trump has lost his ability to talk in sentences.

On social media and in interviews, his cult members try to bash the left by saying “Liberals do (or say)…” then follow that phrase with a description of DonOLD’s recent actions or words. MAGA politicians simply make things up all the time. There is no connection to reality. Republican positions and their worldview are just vaporware. They do seem to have a hypnotic effect on many, but there is no there there. Republican extremists (actual people), on the other hand, use that hypnotic effect for real world grifting, bullying, control, criminalization, and abuse. Therein lies the reason they ALL need to be voted out of office, discredited, convicted (if appropriate), and driven back to the dark edges of society.

If Trump, before the SCOTUS presidential immunity ruling thinks he had that much power, you can't even imagine what he'd do as president again.

And for those people who argue that that SCOTUS ruling doesn't give presidents more power, technically you're right. But from a practical standpoint, you're dead wrong, especially when we'd be facing Trump with SCOTUS in his back pocket.

But fear not, we will defeat Trump at the box office in November and by a wider margin than we did in 2020.

When we fight, we win!

Bizarrely, we don't know the answer to that question because the Supreme Court has not ruled on whether election interference is an official act since Jack Smith just refiled the case. SCOTUS also failed to address the obvious conflict of interest in this matter. His subordinates that assist him would, however, be subject to prosecution. They just couldn't use any conversations with the President as evidence. That is how convoluted the recent Supreme Court decision on immunity is. With this Supreme Court you can assume nothing.
