Fulton County judges disqualify Cornel West, Claudia De la Cruz from Georgia ballot

A pair of Fulton County judges have disqualified independent presidential candidate Cornel West and Party for Socialism and Liberation candidate Claudia De la Cruz from Georgia’s ballot.

This Democrat-backed challenge reverses Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s decision late last month to put West and De la Cruz on the ballot. Last month, Raffensperger also ruled Green Party candidate Jill Stein qualified to be on the ballot.

In the case of West, Judge Thomas Cox Jr. wrote in his ruling that there is “insufficient time to strike the candidates’ name or reprint the ballots.” Instead, the Superior Court of Fulton County is ordering the secretary of state to post notices at all polling locations to indicate that West is not a valid presidential candidate.

The same goes for De la Cruz, but Judge Emily Richardson ruled that in places where there is time to reprint ballots, the socialist candidate’s name should be removed.

3. I believe he'd be less well-known, and less of a pain and threat but not for Bill Maher's love of him.

In much the same way that I blame Oprah for giving us Doctor Phil and Doctor Oz... I blame Bill Maher for contributing to West's fame.

She serves no good purpose other than to suck useful oxygen out of the atmosphere and to spend her time trying to destroy the Democratic party and diminish enthusiasm for Democrats and our leadership.

I did not have an inkling they were funded by kochs and russia. I wish free speech TV would take them off their channel.

... that is being posted saying he is not an "official federal" candidate. What is an "official" candidate? Just about anyone can be a candidate for the presidency.

And what if someone votes for him anyway?
