Absolutely Charles!
Julian Ovenden is a very accomplished singer. If youve not seen any videos of him singing, look for them on YouTube and prepare to be enchanted.
Ill have to go back and see if I can locate the fan fiction site I used to like. Ill let you know what I find.
It looks like the exhibit was only in Singapore, New York, Boston, Atlanta, the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina, and Chicago. I bought the highest priced ticket which included a narrated guide, and a really nice 60+ page book about the exhibit. Worth every penny. One of the items on display was the letter from Sybil to her mother announcing her pregnancy. All the letters, telegrams, and newspapers featured in the series were made to look like the real thing to give the actors a feeling of authenticity when using those props.
In the gift shop, I bought a book about the second movie, a book about Downton Abbey recipes that has lots of pictures, and a cloche style hat in a bronze brocade type of fabric. Now that fall is on its way, I hope to find some occasions to wear it. Im 58 with fairly broad shoulders, so I look pretty good in hats, if I do say so myself. I used to love looking at Princess Dianas hats.
I also have a book about the costumes of Downton Abbey that I ordered from Amazon. Im going to see if there is a book about the first movie.
